Trip Diary

12/6/98: Day 1: Left at 5 am. Kids asleep. By 7 am kids awake and asking "are we there yet". We were not.

2/22/99: Day 3: Mountains! Dad got us lost on a "shortcut". We saw a moose. Worth it.

3/17/99: Day 5: The canyon! So big! Mom would not go near the edge.

6/2/99: Day 8: Drove home. 14 hours. Played the license plate game. Found 41 states.
