After graduation I took my savings and a 40-pound backpack to Europe for 2 months. I wrote this journal in Internet cafes along the way (at $5 an hour, so excuse the typos).
Journal
| 04.02.1998 | Landed. Lost my luggage. Gained a friend at the luggage desk. |
| 07.07.1998 | Night train. Slept sitting up next to a man eating sardines. |
| 08.21.1998 | Ran out of money. Ate bread for 3 days. Good bread though. |
| 11.20.1998 | Last day. Sat by a fountain and wrote postcards to everyone. |
