Chili Cook-Off Champion
Three-time winner of the Muncie Firehouse Chili Cook-Off. Here is my recipe (well, MOST of it).

The Recipe
Firehouse Five-Alarm Chili
Serves 10
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 lb hot sausage
- 2 cans kidney beans
- 2 cans crushed tomatoes
- 3 jalapenos
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 bottle of beer (optional)
- 1 square dark chocolate
Brown the meats. Add everything else. Simmer at least 3 hours. The chocolate is the secret. Do not tell the judges.
Heat Scale

| Medium | For most folks |
| Hot | For the firemen |
| Five-Alarm | Sign a waiver |
