NEW YORK (CNM) -- The Alleyway Boys' fourth album, "Forever Ever," sold 1.8 million copies in its first week in stores, the industry tracking service SoundCount said Wednesday, breaking the record set in May by the group's previous album, "Ever Forever."

Fans lined up overnight outside record stores across the country. At a mall in Halcyon Springs, Florida, more than 2,000 teenagers waited in the parking lot, many holding signs professing their devotion to individual members.
"My favorite is Jace, because he is the sensitive one," said 13-year-old Brittany Sorensen. "Also because he has the frosted tips."
The group begins a 60-city tour in February. A rival vocal group, N-Count, said its own album would be released in March and would be "louder, longer, and more harmonized."
