Homesteader Agreement

By moving into a GeoHoods neighborhood you agree to be a good neighbor. In plain English:

1. Your page is yours. You keep the rights to everything you make. We just host it (for free!).
2. Be nice. No hateful pages, no harassment, nothing illegal, nothing you would not show your grandmother. (Some of our grandmothers are homesteaders too.)
3. Do not put other people's stuff on your page without permission. That includes pictures, MIDIs and lyrics.
4. No chain letters. We mean it. Not even the one about the cookie recipe.
5. Keep your page in the right neighborhood. A UFO page in the Kitchen will be gently moved to Area52.
6. Update your page at least once every six months, or the lot may be offered to someone else.
7. Do not hide or remove the GeoGuide.
8. We may change this agreement from time to time. We will put a NEW! GIF next to the changes.

Content Guidelines

GeoHoods is a family neighborhood. Community Leaders volunteer their time to keep it friendly. If you see a page that breaks the rules, use the "Report a page" link in the GeoGuide (coming soon) or e-mail your Community Leader.
