| Rose (Kline) Keener | b. 1878, d. 1961. Had eleven children. |
| Walter Keener | b. 1902, d. 1988. Ran the hardware store. |
| Dorothy (Yoder) Keener | b. 1906, d. 1995. Best pie in the county. |

Family Legends
Family legend says Johann won the farm in a card game. The deed says he bought it for $340. I prefer the legend.
Great-Aunt Hilda was the first woman in the county to drive a car. She drove it into the creek on the first day and never drove again.
During the Depression Grandpa Walter traded hammers for eggs. The store survived. So did the hens.
