Dashdot has been honored with a number of awards, several of which we did not give ourselves:
- Best Site to Read Instead of Working, 1998 - Readers of a magazine we have since lost the name of.
- Most Comments on a Story About a Refrigerator - This week, probably.
- Webby-ish Award for Community - Presented in a hotel ballroom by a man in a very shiny suit.
- Golden Server Award - For keeping a 486 running through three Dashdot effects. (Accepted on behalf of the Museum of Obsolete Calculators.)
- Honorable Mention, Fewest Graphics - The International Society for People on 14.4 Modems.
