Welcome to the Duluth & Cheese Belt, an HO scale model railroad that fills most of my basement (my wife has the laundry corner). Construction began in 1987 and will end... never, that is the fun of it.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES

05.05.1998: Finished the trestle over Hollow Creek. Used 2,000 craft sticks.

06.28.1998: Grandkids visited. One locomotive now lives in the creek.

09.12.1998: Added working crossing lights. Watched them for an hour.

12.10.1998: Built a tiny diner with tiny people eating tiny pie.

02.21.1999: Operating session with the club: 4 hours, 2 derailments, 0 regrets.
