Remembering Tux
I made this page because I do not know what else to do. Tux was my best friend.
This page plays Over the Rainbow Fields. Click here if you can't hear it!
About Tux
Tux came to us as a tiny thing that fit in two hands. She grew up with our children, watched them leave for the school bus every morning from the windowsill and was waiting there every afternoon.
She was never fancy, never won a ribbon, never learned a single trick except the important one: knowing exactly when somebody needed company.
In the end she was tired, and we held her and told her she was a good girl, and she was.
A Poem
The Rainbow Fields Beyond the hill where the clover grows there is a field that the sunlight knows where old friends run and never tire and nap in grass instead of by the fire And someday when my walking's done I'll find you waiting in the sun you'll lift your head and know my call and we will walk home, after all
Light A Candle
If you have lost a pet too, please sign our guestbook and tell us their name. We will light a candle for them.
Thank You For The Awards!
