~*~ LOOK CLOSER: A Murk Files Fan Page ~*~

Welcome to my shrine to The Murk Files, the best show on television, Friday nights at 9 on Channel 9. If you have not seen it, stop reading this and go find a tape. Agent Dale Holloway believes. Dr. Renata Petrakis does not. Together they investigate the cases the Bureau would rather bury.

This page plays The Murk Theme. Click here if you can't hear it!

CHARACTERS

Agent Dale Holloway - believer, sunflower-seed eater, lost his sister to the lights in 1973.
Dr. Renata Petrakis - medical doctor, skeptic, always has a flashlight.
The Licorice Man - never says his name, always chewing. Knows everything.
Director Kessler - Holloway's boss. Is he on our side? NOBODY KNOWS.
The Consortium - a group of old men in a smoky room deciding the fate of the planet.

BEST QUOTES

1. The cornfield. You know the scene.
2. "Look closer, Agent Holloway. You always miss the part that matters."
3. When Petrakis finally admits the lights were "not entirely conventional."
4. The entire episode "Static". Do not watch it alone.
5. "I want to see it. Not believe it. SEE it."
6. The Licorice Man's first appearance (just standing there. chewing.)
