Bridge Crew Profiles

• Commander Varek - half-Tessarine first officer. Logical. Secretly loves jazz.
• Chief Engineer "Mags" Mahoney - can fix a warp coil with a hairpin and a bad attitude.
• Dr. Ilsa Pell - ship's doctor, collects alien houseplants.
• COMP - the ship's computer, which is definitely developing a personality.

Fan Fiction: Latest Story

The Long Shift

Rated G. Takes place after the episode "Quiet Reactor".

Mags Mahoney had not slept in thirty hours, and the warp coil had not stopped humming in E-flat, which was wrong, because it was supposed to hum in D.

"COMP," she said, "are you humming?"

There was a pause that lasted slightly too long for a computer. "No, Chief."

She narrowed her eyes at the ceiling. "Uh huh."
